Privacy Policy
The short version
Timmer doesn't collect any data. There's no account, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. Your time entries live on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your own private iCloud storage, which only you can access.
Who we are
Timmer is made by Filip Johnsen, an independent developer in Norway. If you have questions about this policy, write to timmer@filipjohnsen.no.
What the app stores
To work, Timmer stores the things you enter:
- Time entries: start and end times, notes, and the project they belong to
- Clients and projects: names, colors and hourly rates
- Settings such as your weekly target, default rate and currency
This data is stored on your device. The widgets and Live Activity read it from a shared container on the same device. None of it is sent to us or to any third party.
iCloud sync
If you're signed in to iCloud, Timmer syncs your entries, clients, projects and settings between your devices using Apple's CloudKit, in your private iCloud database. This data is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy. As the developer, we cannot see, access or restore it.
What we don't do
- No account or sign-in
- No analytics, crash-reporting or advertising SDKs
- No tracking across apps or websites
- No selling or sharing of data, because we don't have any
If you choose to share diagnostics with app developers in iOS Settings, Apple may pass anonymous crash reports to us. You control this in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.
Exporting and deleting your data
You can export your entries as a CSV file from Reports at any time. You can delete individual entries and projects in the app. Deleting the app removes all data from that device. To delete the copy in iCloud, go to Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Timmer.
Children
Timmer is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date. If Timmer ever starts collecting data, this page will say so before it happens.
