Does the timer keep running if I close the app?
Yes. The start time is saved when you tap Start, so the timer keeps counting when the app is closed, your phone restarts, or you switch devices. You can stop it from the Lock Screen, the Dynamic Island, a widget or Siri.
How do I sync between my iPhone and iPad?
Sign in to the same Apple Account on both devices and make sure iCloud is turned on for Timmer in Settings → [your name] → iCloud. Entries, projects and settings then sync automatically through your private iCloud.
How do breaks work?
While a timer is running, tap Break. The current entry stops and the stopwatch on the timer screen takes a rest. Tap Resume to start a new entry on the same project, or Stop to end the break.
Do I need clients and projects?
No. Projects are optional everywhere. Use none, a flat list of projects, or group projects under clients. Hourly rates are taken from the project, then the client, then the default rate in Settings.
How is the weekly target counted?
Your weekly target is spread evenly over Monday to Friday. The ring on the timer screen fills toward today's share, and Reports shows your running balance. Changing the target applies from the current week; earlier weeks keep the target they had. Set it to 0 to turn the target off.
How do I export my hours?
Open Reports, pick a week or month, and tap Export CSV to get a file you can open in Numbers, Excel or Google Sheets.
How do I add the widget or the Siri shortcut?
Touch and hold the Home Screen or Lock Screen, tap Edit, and add the Timmer widget. For Siri, just say “Start timer in Timmer” or “Stop timer in Timmer” — the shortcuts are available as soon as the app is installed, and also appear in the Shortcuts app.
How do I delete my data?
Delete entries and projects in the app, or delete the app to remove everything on that device. To remove the copy in iCloud, go to Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Timmer. See the privacy policy for details.
